Humpback whale found in amazon
A humpback whale was found in the amazon about 15 meters from the ocean wildlife experts are looking for clues on how this animal may have got there! They believe it is a 12 month old calf. It was found undergrowth on the Brazilian island of Marajo. It was 8 meters long. They found it on the 25th of December. My opinion is that I have no idea how the mamal could have got there but I assume that it got washed in from sea in a storm.
Hi Leah, what an interesting current event you have chosen. I also think it was probably washed up there by a storm. Do humpback whales normally live in that area? Can you find out what sorts of clues the scientists will look for to work out how it got there?
