Refection T3W5

This week for numeracy we have been working on fractions, I learnt how to identify fractions. Here is a google drawing about how to identify fractions . Next time I am going to try and be more focused so I will have a better understanding about fractions.


Also this week for literacy we have been still working on our slide about our artist. Next time I am going to find a bit more information about him, but this time I ran out of time. We were learning to resurrect about a set artist

This week for numeracy we have been learning how to do 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication here is a video of a 2 digit by 1 digit. I liked learning how to do this because it is a good thing to know how to do. Next time I am going to make a video of a 2 digit by 2 digit video

This week for numeracy we had to make a slide about 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication.  next time I am going  to try and make them look better. I liked doing this activity because it was fun making google drawings.   

We have also been working on maths buddy and basic facts.

This week we learnt how to do long multiplication and short multiplication. I found it really hard because I had never learnt how to do that. here is my working out in my book.

This week for numeracy we had to write down all our goals for this year and here are mine.

I sort of liked doing this activity because I don't really like doing goals. We also went on maths buddy and done a couple of tests we were also on studyladder. We chose our goals for the beginning of the year from our test results.

W2T1 Reflection

Literacy

This week for literacy we had to write lists that had something to do with us. I chose to do 10 places I want to visit. I found it hard to decide all the places I wanted to go. Next time I am going to manage my time better and try and get more done.

The number one place I want to go is I want to go to Orlando Florida so I can go snorkeling in a coral reef.

Statistics: This week we had to think of a question and then go and ask people in Mamaku. Our question was what is Mamaku's favorite animal and the answer was wolf. Here is my graph.

Interchange

This week for interchange we went to fitness where we did circuits and then we went to drama where we had to act out words. I liked drama better than fitness.

This week for numeracy we had to to answer these questions I found this really hard because I don't really like maths but I still did it. My WALT is to finish my work on time. Next time I am going to make it look better.

For Numeracy this week we had to complete some Studdyladder Tasks. We also had to complete some maths jokes to do with Christmas. These are my favorite jokes. I liked doing this Activity Because I like jokes Next time I am going to get more done.

This week for topic and numeracy we have been working  on a google map showing where the worst tornadoes have struck. I liked doing this activity way more than what we usually do for numeracy. Next time I am going to write bigger sentences. I will do this by researching more about tornadoes.

This week we have been continuing on with problem solving. I liked doing problem solving because it makes you think. Next time I am going to manage my time better and get more done because I have only completed 2 this week.

Numeracy reflection T4W4

This week for numeracy we have been carrying on with our problem solving. I really like doing problem solving because it makes you think. Next time I am going to get more activities done. I improved my problem solving skills. My Walt was to find 2 different ways to work it out and I completed my Walt.

This is the other activity I have completed. This activity was really easy because it was just subtraction. Next time I am going to try and work it out in 2 different ways but this one was hard to do two different ways so I didn't complete my Walt.

This week for numeracy we have started geometry. I liked doing this because my partner was Katelin and we are both good at maths so it was easy. Next time I am going to try and get more done.

Numeracy Reflection T3W9

This week we continued on from our problem solving that we started in Term 1. I found some of the questions hard and some easy. Next time I am also going to ask for help if they are to hard.  
This week we were still doing area and perimeter I like doing this because It is a bit hard so it is challenging I like perimeter better than area. 

Numeracy Reflection

For numeracy this week we were still learning area and perimeter in our snake groups but Miss Panther challenged us to find 3 ways to work each question out. It was a little bit hard to do this time because there was only 3 of us as Franklin was at music so there was only me, Ayesha and Oliver


The day that we did this we had Franklin there which helped a lot. It was hard trying to think of 3 different ways but we made it work. It was a bit annoying because 1 person in my group kept on putting silly pictures on it but when we told him to stop he stopped.

This week we got put into groups and then we had a activity called snake. I learnt more about area and perimeter. I found this activity hard because it was hard working in a group because some people were being silly.

This week for numeracy I completed equivalent fractions. I learnt some harder fractions like 6/15. Next time I am going to manage my time better and I hope to do more work.

As you might already know we have been doing fractions this term. We have been going on Khan academy then we have to retell what we are learning. I don't like doing this activity because I am not very good at retelling what I have been learning. I learnt how to do word problems. Next time I am going to try harder and complete a level on khan academy.  

T2W3 Reflection 2016

Olympics 

this week for Olympics we had lots of tasks to do one of them was a inspirational story I found difficult writing it out in my own words because some of the words that the text said I didn't know what they were talking about so I had to google it. I know your all wondering where I got the facts from I googled all of them I didn't come across any fake facts witch i'm happy about I learnt a lot of new skills like I learnt to check my facts on lots of different websites to check they were true facts I also learnt a lot of facts but the best one was that she got a 10 from the judges.  

This week I also completed my compare and contrast sheet I found the ancient and the modern easy but I found the same really hard because there wasent much stuff the the same. I also didn't find any untrustworthy websites on this one. My skill that I learnt is two find out stuff that is the same. The coolest fact that I learnt was that There was canoeing back in the ancient Olympics
